On a limited basis, but nonetheless rewarding, some of Paul’s time has been spent coaching riders with disabilities and learning difficulties. In all, Paul has well in excess of 30,000 hours teaching experience on the UK’s and continental roads. The Register of Post-Test Motorcycle Trainers: In the required Check Test assessment for trainers, conducted by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), and taken as part of his ongoing RPMT registration with the DVSA, he achieved the top grade for coaching/training and riding in every single category. His current RoSPA National Diploma in Advanced Riding Instruction was last assessed in November 2015 and he achieved distinction level in all categories. Paul provides professional consultation as an Expert Witness in the investigation of serious and fatal motorcycle crashes, is a qualified instructor for CBT and Direct Access and has Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (formerly CRB) clearance.
The ethos of GMTS.BIKE is to provide unrivalled standards of teaching of motorcycling skills to all clients and this application is transferred to all instructors within Gordano Motorcycle Training. Gordano Motorcycle Training works with Portishead Town Football Club and Gordano School to enhance riders’ skills in motorcycling and to progress a reduction of motorcycle casualties in the region, particularly among young riders of age 27 and under.
